1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using My Hisab, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the service. These terms apply to all users of the platform, including business owners and administrators.
2. Service Description
My Hisab provides automated bookkeeping and VAT return preparation for small businesses in the UAE. Customers send invoices and financial documents via WhatsApp. We use AI and OCR technology to extract data, categorise transactions, and prepare VAT-ready reports.
3. WhatsApp Messaging
By sending messages or media to our WhatsApp Business number, you consent to our processing of that content for bookkeeping purposes. Standard messaging and data rates from your carrier may apply. We are not responsible for delivery failures caused by third-party messaging platforms.
4. Accuracy of Financial Data
While we use advanced technology to extract and categorise invoice data, you are responsible for reviewing the accuracy of all processed records. You must promptly flag any errors or discrepancies. My Hisab is not liable for inaccuracies arising from poor image quality, handwritten invoices, or incorrect source documents.
5. User Obligations
- Provide accurate and up-to-date business and contact information.
- Ensure all invoice images are legible and complete before sending.
- Use the service only for lawful business purposes.
- Maintain the confidentiality of your admin dashboard credentials.
6. Fees and Payment
Subscription fees are billed according to the plan selected during onboarding. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing upon 30 days’ written notice.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate the service at any time. Upon termination, we will retain your data as required by UAE tax law and then delete it in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
8. Limitation of Liability
My Hisab is provided on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Our total liability for any claim arising from the use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Dubai, UAE.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or WhatsApp. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
